Format: School & Library Binding Verified Purchase
I read this to my small children in the 80's. Whenever there was a storm, we would count the hippopotamuses between the lightning and the thunder, and their fear would dissipate with the "game" of hippo counting. The pictures of the operatic hippos are great fun and help make this book a timeless treasure.
