This review is from: Hippocrates Health Program: A Proven Guide to Healthful Living (Paperback)
You might think that I have issue with the Hippocrates program, since I rated this book so low. Not so! I have two other books I like very much, both on the Hippocrates program. Those are incredibly informative and helpful. This one, not at all unless you haven't ever read anything on the Hippocrates Program. There are 85 pages in this small book. I was expecting a majority of the book to cover diet plans, since that was covered so briefly in the other books I purchased. I was expecting to see a break down of food to eat each day and perhaps some recipes. I wanted an expanded version of the week long menu plan I saw in another book. Perhaps a month of menus? Instead, this book gives only a simple introduction to the concepts that are expounded on so thoroughly in the other books. There's very little detail. It's like a book you'd get on your first day at the institute. Only enough to spark your interest, but very little meat (or tofu). Get "Living Foods for Optimum Health" first. And if you like that book, I would also highly recommend "Hippocrates Life Force". |
