We recently saw the Hipwaders playing live, and bought this CD on the strength of that performance. I wasn't disappointed. My 2 1/2 year old loves it, and I find myself playing it even when he isn't in the car ! The music reminds me of music I listened to in my youth (and I'm sure there is some Undertones influence in there too), and the lyrics are worth listening too. We particularly like Stand up to the bully and Earthquake (which reminds me of the B-52's). Highly recommended

My kids always request this CD. Many of the songs are educational and very catchy (my 7-year-old was humming one of the songs the other day!). I like the songs, too! I hope they come out with another CD soon.

It is hip rock music for kids. Many songs are educational yet fun and remind me of Bill Nye the Science Guy. The songs approach the world from a kids point of view and capture that sense of enthusiasm and awe of being young. The Hipwaders write songs with diverse themes from bullies to volcanos to messy rooms. Buy this for your kids and you will start to sing along.
