I own the 2007 version of this calendar diary. I love it. There is a beautiful picture on the cover. No pictures inside, but it has a calendar page for each week, with a full lined page opposite it. The layout is great. There is plenty of room for appointments and notes for each week. There is an address section in the back. It is very high quality. I am buying another one for 2008.

I was disappointed with the diary not having any other pictures of Hiroshige's work. It's a very plain and boring diary. I returned the item.

This is a great little diary/calendar. I was hoping this one would be a similar layout to the one I bought last year--from the same publisher, but it's not. It's definitely good enough though and I know I'll get used to it. I like the magnet; this is a gorgeous piece for my desk and so far--durable enough to toss into my 'commuting bag' to haul to work etc.

I bought the spiral bound one from the same maker last year and LOVED it. (New York Post--Dogs). The layout worked perfect for outlining which weekends we have our daughter and which ones we didn't. The cover was really durable too, but it would fall open and bend the pages...hence my turning to the magnet. We'll see how it goes this year! If it holds up, I'll up my review to 5 stars!

I have been buying Magneto agendas for the past four years because it has everything I need in an agenda. I need something that is easily spotted and undoubtedly MINE, a pocket in which to put prescriptions and slips of important info, and a closure that ensures things don't fall out.
The layout is different this year, with the days going vertically down the page with the lines broken down by hour and without a journaling area. I wasn't sure I liked the change at first until I started filling in appointments and class schedules and it actually helps me see where obligations are overlapping much more quickly than before. With the older ones I wouldn't realize the problem until the day before.
I'm very pleased!

We have a lot of doctors appointments and I do a lot of note taking. I like the space that TeNeues gives for scratching in appointments and the box on the adjacent page for notes on that day's happenings. I had last years Hiroshige Large Magneto and was afraid I'd never find another agenda like it. In my opinion, this one is even better as last years had no extra artwork throughout the book. This year has small prints scattered through the months. My favorite feature aside from the ribbon marker is the POCKET! The pocket's opening is at the spine so your papers and notes are not going to fall out. The magnetic flap that closes around the book adds extra reassurance. I always have referrals, authorizations and prescriptions on hand, no searching through purses and diaper bags. It's very resiliant and survived being thrown, dropped and several near drowning experiences and is still in one piece as I switch to 2008. If you want more function than anything, you get that plus the bonus of great design.

This calendar is absolutely beautiful---the quality of the paper, the pictures, the magnet that holds the calendar shut. I bought it because I stumbled on the 2007 calendar a year ago and loved it. This 2008 is about an inch smaller but has more pictures.

Product came as ordered and was really beautiful. I expected something good but this is spectacular.

I have purchased Magneto diary calendars for three years now, for use as a daily journal. I like the diary lay out with a day-by-day appointment calendar on the left side and adjacent lines for more detail on the right. Each double-sided page records one week's worth of entries beginning with Monday and ending on Sunday. At the front of this diary calendar are monthly pages where you can write birthday reminders, etc., for quick reference. In addition, there is a contact section at the back of the diary calendar and more blank pages for notes, as well as an envelope pasted onto the back cover for keeping notes, business cards, etc. The Hiroshige calendars have beautiful full page reprints of Hiroshige's artwork. There are a number of other Magneto diary calendars featuring other artists. This is diary calendar I plan on using for years to come until, possibly although unlikely, something better comes along.
