Hirt's Yellow Christmas Cactus Plant-Zygocactus - 4" Pot

I placed 3 different orders with them, for a variety of Christmas Cactus plants. Here is the summary of what happened:

Order 1: I ordered a yellow Christmas cactus. I received a white one. Hirt's responded and wanted ME to pay to send the plant back to them, so they could refund my money. So, basically, I would have paid around $15 - 20 in shipping for NOTHING. They also put so much masking tape on the plant, it was damaged when the tape was removed.
Order #2: I ordered 2 yellow cactus. Again, they sent the wrong plants. The leaves on the plants matched the EASTER cactus plants they sell, not a yellow Christmas cactus.
Order #3: This is the third order they messed up. They only sent 1 yellow cactus, though I ordered two. They sent an extra peach cactus instead. Several of the plants were damaged by the tape put on the pots and several of them were not labeled to show which plants they were. Will not order from them again.

In addition, ALL of the plants I ordered from them had weeds growing in the pots. Not something I would want to deal with when it comes to my houseplants.

Customer service FINALLY responded to my emails...only after I had emailed 5 times. They sent one sentence - "Send them back for a refund." When I wrote back that I was not going to pay to ship back their mistakes unless they were going to refund me the original shipping costs as well as my return shipping costs, I did not hear from them again, and it has been almost 3 weeks now.

This Plant is Beautiful. Its Full Of Growth and Life. The Flowers were Pinkish-peach when it was delivered, but Turned a Lovely Yellow. Very rare.

Buying a Christmas cactus at this season (March), I didn't expect to see flowers; however, I also didn't expect to receive a damaged plant. The plant was put directly in a small box with some storiform around. I found at least 7 damaged branches: some were folded and some were fallen up.

It's a beautiful plant. It did come with pinkish buds but that's because of the temp it was grown in as explained by the grower. The buds are in the process of flowering into large yellow flowers. The company did it's best to package the plant while causing minimal damage. It's very difficult to package a flowered plant when sending through the mail. The plant was a birthday gift for a friend and they love it. They've only seen a yellow christmas cactus plant once and wished they had one. Well, their wish came true.

The cactus is NOT yellow like I ordered. I was soooo excited to finally get a yellow one for a present for my Mom who has been wantin g a yellow cactus for many yrs and its light pink :( I am very disapointed!!!

When I first got my yellow cactus I replanted it right away and was disappointed that the plant was more of a cutting than a plant. Few roots were formed. But I replanted it and now two months later I have two new leaves and there are several buds forming. Can't wait for it to bloom.

I ordered 3 plants with different colors and they promptly arrived this week. The yellow one is at most one third the size of the other ones. Also, the yellow one also had 2 broken branches. This yellow one is advertised as rare, but I would opt for the other colors.

Purchased this product after being told they were available by a friend. The cactus came with a detailed instructions on growing them. Some of the information I did not know. very happy with pruchse and it was ordered and shipped within the time frame stated.

My Hirt's Yellow Christmas Cactus arrived quickly and was in perfect condition. It came with blooms and buds and has continued to bloom since I received it. I will actually be giving it away as a Christmas gift, so I may be getting another one for myself! Colors are good...a mild yellow with a hint of pink.

purchased at the same time as the white christmas cactus. all plants arrived in excellent condition, fast delivery, good size, and healthy.
