Ronnie Dyson has a superb voice and the rich orchestrations on this album combine to make for a heart-rending listening experience. Dyson has one of those vocal ranges where he can slide up to the highest high, or sing in a whisper that conveys oh so much emotion. And with so many tracks, this album just has to be excellent value. If you've never heard Ronnie Dyson, just listen to 'When you get right down to it' to experience a ballad that has it all - big band orchestra, Dyson's wonderful voice and that light, shade and big finale that makes for a song that really grabs you.

Love love love this compilation of Ronnie's best. There is no voice out there today like his. So-o-o-o many beautiful tunes here. He really is in a class by himself and unfortunately, gone way too soon! I miss his talent.

I have been wanting this Cd for a long time so I am so happy that I finally got it, Ronnie sings with such soul and you can feel is pain in some of his songs. This is a great CD

If you enjoy Ronnie Dyson you'll enjoy this CD. I'm in the process of getting some of my favorite "oldies" on CD. I haven't listened to the albums in ages, but the music still makes me happy.

Ronnie Dyson is a classic artist and I am listening to him everyday. I grew up with these tunes so it is one of the best CD's that I could have purchased. I know every song on the album and if anyone likes great classic love songs then this is the album to buy. Go out and get it TODAY!

If you're a fan of oldies from the 60's and 70's, you'll love listening to Ronnie Dyson for the first time or to reminisce. Ronnie's voice and music set you back to a time of love. His voice is a classic. I knew a few of the songs from growing up with soul music. But, this CD gave me a bigger look and feel for Mr. Dyson and his style. This CD is a must for the music lover.

Worth buying for this song alone - "When you get right down to it" is the quintissential classic from probably the most melodic soulman in history. His voice is liquid gold. Like Bruch with his unsurpassed violin concerto, Dyson has in this song a classic which touches the heart and soul of everyone who listens to it.

Ronnie Dyson never attained the level of superstardom an artist of his caliber deserved but this excellent collection does his talent justice. One can only imagine the heights he could have reached had he been properly marketed and promoted.

The cd was in "perfect" condition but I wasn't overwhelmed by some the music. I guess, I expected too much.

This little Gary Coleman looking thing can sing. Powerful voice! Great.
