This review is from: His Lordship (Paperback)
I've read just about everything that Leslie Thomas has written and have put him near the top of my list of favourite authrs--but not for this book. The central theme is the seduction of various under-age schoolgirls by a school tennis coach--or is it the other way round?
Monty Python has made just about any subject acceptable as comedy...but Thomas doesn't make this funny! It's obscenely real! Ugggh! I felt quite dirty after a couple of chapters and threw it out. Beware. |
