Barbara A. Gonyo is a mother and a grandmother and a painater, who had to write a book because she had something to say and wanted to educate people to understand a subject that is hard to understand unless you have lived it.
At 16 Barbara was forced to give up her first born son for adoption. She went on with her life trying to forget the pain in her heart where her son lived. At age 42 when he was 26, she searched for and found him and developed a relationship that was wonderful and frightening. It came to be called Genetic Sexual Attraction. Now, many years later she is able to tell her story and that of others who also became reunited with a relative that they were not allowed to know. Barbara has a website titled" Genetic Sexual Attraction" that has been running for over 10 years and is there for information and as a support group.
