A case of missing ending,

So what's a girl to do when she finds out her significant other has a whole other side to himself? When Mia finds out her boyfriend is having an affair, she's understandably crushed. As she looks for proof to confirm her suspicions, she becomes enraged to the point of no return. She chooses not to confront her man, but instead searches for the other woman. What transpires over the next week is a series of rather unbelievable events, all of which are fueled by Mia's obsessive need for revenge and her conviction that she can "fix it" and win her boyfriend back. The book is quite a page turner, but then... nothing happens. As the last sentence of the book reads, "nothing at all". The ending doesn't even fall flat, it's simply not there.
Yes, it's a quick read, good for a long car/plane ride, but not very satisfying after all. |
