I have many devotional books, but very few have found their way into my morning quiet-time ritual. But from the first day I began "His Princess" I knew this was a book I wanted to read every day. Encouraging and insightful, this book reminds me how special I am to my Lord. I love this book!

This lovely book, which is illustrated on every page, is a series of devotions to the reader from the heavenly Father's perspective. Each reading is a wonderful gift, based on scripture, that helps the woman start or end the day feeling loved. I'm buying several for gifts--for my daughters and for graduation presents.

His Princess by Sheri Rose Shepherd is a book of love letters heaped with encouragement, acceptance, and gentle advice. This exceptional devotional is an uplifting and learning experience geared for girls and women. Sized to fit in your purse, the hard cover book has 184 pages. Each love letter is a short devotion accompanied by a matching verse.

The author mined Scripture for God's words on everything from decorating your home to finding His will in your life. The letters have a life-changing impact on emotions such as loneliness: "When you are in need of a friend you will hear Me whisper, 'I am here.' When you need comfort, you will hear Me call to you, 'Come to Me.' Don't let the voice of your own uncertainties distract you from My still, small, voice."

Repeatedly, His Princess explains that we only have to please our King. "I know how tired you become, just trying to do and say all the right things. Take the pressure off yourself, because I did not put it there."

I personally appreciated the letters. They reassured me of my relationship with God and they taught me many things including the power of prayer and purity. I highly recommend His Princess for women in all walks of life, from teenagers through seniors. This book is so amazing! Not only does it apply and make you think about the passages that are highlighted, but it sticks to the Bible! Each elaboration is filled with scripture. Too many times I've found books like this that add stuff that really isn't in the Bile, but this book isn't like that at all! It makes the Bible seem real and you feel as if God really is talking to you! Just take a look at one of the entry's on the "look inside" feature. You'll see what I'm talking about! I plan on getting this book for a lot of my friends and family!

As Christian women, we can be so overwhelmed by the daily tasks and things we have to handle and sometimes we would get so tired and weary, we start to doubt our self worth, and we sometimes feel unappreciated and unloved, but this beautiful book reminds us how precious we are in our God's eyes. As he is the King of kings, we are his daughters and HIS PRINCESSES!

Every little passage tells a love story of how much our King is in love with us. It is so nice to be reminded that we are precious and important by someone who should matter the most --- our Lord! I love the beautiful flora designs in the book and I keep it with me in my purse because I want to take it everywhere with me, so when I feel sad or tired, I can just open this little book and be reminded again how much I am loved!

"His Princess" is such a phenomenal devotional. I have found it to deepen my relationship with the Lord. He uses it to speak to my deepest needs and provide diretion in my life. I have purchased several copies of this book to give as gifts to my friends and they all love it as well. Anyone I have known who has this book has been touched by the Lord in various ways. It is amazing to me how one book can relate to so many different people in different ways. I think this is evidence that the writer and this book are exceptional and that the Lord has annointed it greatly.

This book is AWESOME!!! I LOVE this book. God speaks to me through this book and He has spoken to many others, too. I have enjoyed sharing some of the letters with others and they have shared with me just exactly what God is saying to them. I first saw this book in prison. One of the girls brought it into the kitchen and told each of us to just open it up wherever God wanted it to open. It was amazing! God spoke to each of us individually and then we explained what we had been wrestling with and how God was encouraging us. He always knows just what to do! Praise God!

I read a few of the letters and then shared it with my aunt, who loved it. I so recommend this to every woman - I have hundreds and hundreds of books, and I think this is one I will buy for all my friends. There is only one "drawback" - it is so beautiful, so lovely that I don't want to underline or highlight the book. This makes a gorgeous gift!

Within these pages you will truly find words of love and encouragement from your God and King. God sees us with such loving and forgiving eyes and He desires for us to see ourselves through His eyes. May each Princess find herself through this wonderful little book.

My good friend and mentor gave this book to me and it has been a great encouragement. I have since given this book as a gift to friends. It is a book you will not want to keep to yourself - Pass it on!

This book is so touching. A friend gave me a copy and I loved it so much I ordered 7 more to give as Christmas gifts. I've read one or two letters every night before going to sleep. These letters are written as if God is writing to each woman personally, father to daughter. Each letter is based on a Bible verse that is included. The letters are so loving and personal. I will read this book over and over.
