How do you find a mate? And more specifically how do you become a
mate? There is no doubt that there is an overabundance of advice
on how to accomplish both scenarios. However if you want to truly
experience the culmination of this search you cannot listen to
'experts' who shower us with the physical aspects of the conquest,
we must adhere to the rules of God. One vow states "What God has
joined together, let no man put asunder", and if wefollow His
rules we will be assured that God has indeed joined it together.

The book is divided into three main sections, Get Dieseled, Get
Smart and Get Together. The chapters in each section are
subscripted with scriptures, to emphasize the author's message.
Again, the intent of the authors is to convey God's relationship
principles, which are laid out explicitly in His Word. And also
to enlighten couples that the walk down the aisle in not the end,
we must follow his rules to infinity. This book is an excellent
guide for those seeking a blessing from God shaped in the body of
a soul mate.

This book is a great read. Not only does it show how to attract the right mate, but most importantly how to become the right person. This is exactly what we should focus on, and His Rules does a great job at that. One amazing fact is that it is inspired by many scriptures, thus demonstrates the passion of God for relationships that work under His Rules.
This book is well written, with funny illustrations but all the more serious at the same time. It contains real life stories that we can all relate to at some point. It is excellent material to study what we all want to master: relationships that work.

The beauty of "His Rules" is that the authors show great care for their readers. The book has an encouraging, humorous and uplifting tone -- while still administering truth and admonition. The vivid stories and examples make it easy to laugh at our past mistakes. The scriptures and "how to" exmaples show us where we can improve. So if you don't come away convinced that the joy of a God-centered and fulfilling marriage is within your grasp...then you need to read it again!

Ok, so you have bought all the books on Waiting/purity/what to do before the marriage. I have read them all, as a matter of fact I have over 30 or so books on singleness, love and marriage. His Rules is a must keep....it redirects your life...and shows you that singleness is the time of your life where you can "BECOME" and have fun doing it.

His Rules is an invaluable resource for all God-seeking people--whether or not they are seeking a spouse. Rather than simply being a roadmap to relationship success with a mate, it is more of a roadmap to a successful relationship with our Lord, Jesus Christ. Even those who think they already have such a relationship will receive revelation that there are certain behaviors and leftover baggage that afflicts all of us, and prevents us from enjoying true intimacy with Him. Fast, frank, and readable, following the advice in this book should help the reader with ALL relationships in his/her life.

this is a great book if you are considering getting married. i have been married for seven years, and i wish i had this book back then, it would have saved a lot of frustration. my wife and i both read the book and gained a lot of insight on each other that we were unable to realize before. this is a definite must read for anybody who wants honest, biblicle information on getting married and making their marriage work according to Gods plan.

"His Rules" is an awesome read (take in) , it's practical - The rules are attainable and make alot of sense (of course when applied). I believe it's things that we already know but conveniently ignore or disregard because it doesn't match our current lifestyle or great feel. It's easy to relate to the authors illustrations of the rules. I can almost assure that whomever (everyone should read it) reads the book will find an illustration that does or has applied to them. Point: GOD IS FIRST / THE FIRST FOCUS! Enough - if your serious about meeting your mate (God's mate) then this is a must read/have.

His Rules is not just another 'Christian dating book.' It is so much more! I have read most of what it on the market on this topic, and this book completely stands alone! It is saturated in Truth and practical, real life illustrations that help bring the principles to life. A must read!!!!

I read this book as a part of a book club and didn't really finish it or really get into it until about a year later when I began to lose myself in a relationship and was building my religious relationship. I read this book during a time of searching for what kind of woman I wanted to be and what kind of man complimented me. It opened my eyes to so many things and in the result I changed several things about who I am, what I represented and what I was about. I really give this book a "life changing" status because I gave up things that I never thought I could or would. God is good because I have a testimony almost 2 years after I finished this book of how amazing my life has been ever since. I warn everyone that if you are stuck in your ways, this book may and will change that!
