Editorial Reviews

2011 album from the Swedish Metal outfit formed by ex-members of Norrsken. A group that stands for no boundaries, no limits at all. Playing all sorts of rockish music makes Graveyard stand out from the crowd. Be it Classic Rock, Blues, Jazz, Folk - you name it - the authentic quintet makes it sound real at any time. With wide influences spreading throughout different genres.

5.0 out of 5 stars I wish more band were like Graveyard February 17, 2012
Format:Audio CD
If I write a full review I wouldn't be saying anything the other reviewers haven't already stated. These guys can go from fist pumping rock and roll to bluesy melodic soul with such fluidity it makes me wish I knew other bands that were of Graveyards caliber. This is the best CD I have heard in 10 years and maybe ever heard. Here's to hoping they come out with a third. If you are a fan of Clutch, Black Angels, Black Mountain, Wolf People, B.R.M.C., Black Sabbath or just good rock/blues-- you will love these guys. This album even has a track which sounds like a blues, psychedelic spaghetti western song--it makes me want to watch The Good The Bad and The Ugly and replay Red Dead Redemption again. These guys rock!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great old-sounding hard rock/metal band September 18, 2012
By David
Format:MP3 Music|Amazon Verified Purchase
I heard these guys on a mix album, and every time it came up I thought it was some old American band. I had to have it, so I got this album. These guys are European, and they perfectly emulate that hard rock/early metal vintage sound from the 70s! Well written songs with catchy hooks, nice vocals and guitars and drums. The recording quality is great - sounds like all vintage equipment was used. In the modern world of everything electronic, it's nice to have someone stand out.

5.0 out of 5 stars Hisingen Blues July 18, 2012
Format:MP3 Music|Amazon Verified Purchase
This is a fantastic album. If you like Led Zepplin and classic Black Sabbath, you will like this album. I read a couple of reviews and thought that it might be too bluesy for my taste, but I bought it anyway, and now I think it's one the best albums I've bought in years. It's one of the few albums that I can listen to constantly, from beginning to end, without skipping tracks.

Great album to excite and strut your way down the road. Very easy to find yourself playing it on loop. I just love songs where the vocalist is just singing his lungs out. Read more
