Hisonic UHF dual-Channel Wireless System provides you with proven performance and durability in a variety of settings, from churches to nightclubs to gymnasiums, from concert halls to broadcast booths and stadiums. Each HSU232 Series UHF wireless microphone system includes one receiver and two rubber-coated handheld transmitters, each of which has 16 selectable channels for easy system expansion and minimized interference. This system is true diversity, each transmitter uses two identical tuners, each coupled to an antenna. Built-in circuitry automatically selects the stronger signal coming from the two tuners so that even if one tuner has a momentary signal dropout, the other will still carry the signal from the transmitter. Under adverse conditions of long distances and weak signal reception, the true-diversity receiver will have 5 times fewer dropouts than a non-diversity receiver. If the signal strength increases by 10 dB (3 times), chances of signal dropouts improve to 45 times less than the non-diversity receiver. Not only does a true-diversity receiver give added sensitivity for greater range with fewer chances of signal dropout, but it also has a better S/N ratio when the signal strength is weakened to the squelch threshold level. This system has a total of three audio outputs, one of which is mixed output with standard 1/4" jack, the other two are balanced individual XLR outputs for each channel.

Got this product today and checked it out immediately. Real easy to set up and use, has 16 channels for each mic and they do not overlap!! You can have both microphones on ch. 16 and they are pretty far apart from each other in the spectrum. Each mic has a has a ch. selector that is changable with the provided screw. The mic does have an ergonomic style grip to the body, not round. Turning the mic power on and off while the unit is in play did not render a large click or pop, I did notice one, but nothing I would be concerned with running a system at gig power. The base unit has goof-proof operation. You can choose the up or down buttons for channel, and you can 'fine tune' each channel by going to the manual setting. Changes the frequency by .05 with each click. DB output meter and segmented signal strength is a nice touch. Fired up the unit with the supplied batteries(cheap), each mic takes 3 AA (4.5v) and went for the distance check first. I was able to hear good mic response, 200 feet away, between two apartment buildings, with the receiver inside of a unit and me on the other block, no line of site, in the city. Each mic was as clear as the other. The sales info does not say, but THIS UNIT DOES COME WITH A METAL CASE!!! Very Nice. I will be using this unit regularly for gigs as an alternate mic for the live board. Lot's of features and extra's for a relatively small price. It fit my budget and gave me what I needed. I would recommend high output batteries.
