I bought this flute for myself. It is beautiful! I am 40-something and have a family. My children play the violin and I have been wanting to play music with them. I played the flute from 4th grade through high school, but foolishly sold my flute when I graduated. This attractive and high-quality sounding flute has enabled me to relive my youth and to make beautiful music with my children.

I've owned this flute for over a year, now, and have been constantly impressed with its tone, workmanship, and appearance. The cork stops tend to come off a little too easily, but replacement cork bits are included. This is an excellent starter or practice instrument, particularly for its price. Highly recommended.

I bought it for my daughter who started in the Jr High band, thinking it was a low-cost way to judge if she were interested in continuing or not. Despite the low price tag, it has a lovely tone, makes a perfect starter flute and my daughter loves it. It was cheaper to order this flute, which she may have forever, than to rent one from the school for the year.

I purchased this after returning a flute I bought on another website for a much higher price. That one was of poor quality so I was not certain what I was getting here. Let me tell you the quality and workmanship are awesome and you can't beat the price. I am totally happy with my choice and if you have any doubts, forget them as this is the one to purchase especially for a beginner.

I had to get my daughter her first flute for school. I did not have a lot of money to spend. The price was excellent and the service was wonderful. My daughter was so delited when the flute came so fast. I recommend that you use this company.

One time in band camp, I had this awesome flute and this one I bought is even better... All jokes aside, this flute is really great. I've always wanted to play the flute and this just is a great flute to have. I definitly recommend you buying this flute.

I played the flute in middle and high school....I haven't played in 6+ years now. So, when my church wanted me to play for them, I whipped out my old flute...and it didn't work. Thankfully I found this flute, it is excellent....the tone and quality are great and the price is even better.

I bought this for my son for his school music class after reading reviews here at Amazon in September 2008. Now after 3 months, the keys are giving problem; when you press one key, other keys also are pressed. My son's teacher asked me to show it to a music shop for fixing it and the music shop guy tells me it is not a good quality instrument and cannot be repaired/fixed. I recommend staying away from this. It will be a piece of junk in 2-3 months of use. The carrying case is substandard. The rivets in the hinges got loose.

The price of this flute continues to range between $130-$140. Its keys occasionally get stuck, as all flutes from online do. It may not be suitable for an advanced player, but it is perfect for beginners. The cables come out of place every so often, but it's simple to put them back into place. It's a much better deal rather than buying a flute from your average music store.

I am a flautist and am very impressed with this beginner's model flute. One of my students received it for Christmas and I was very skeptical when I found out the price her parent's paid. I was expecting a very low quality instrument. When I tried it, I could not believe the quality for the price. I ordered the same flute for my daughter and she is now enjoying the flute, also (she is a saxophone player).
