About the Artist

C. C. Couch is a former Epic Records artist who has toured in Normandy in France and opened for Yannick Noah and Carl Perkins at the Zenith Theater in Caen. Her CD, A French Christmas, has become a popular Christmas selection. She has also co-written and performed several children's albums, Twelve Fables, Kiddancercise, Calendar Kids, Let There Be Light and Colors, as well as Sonic Creations' CDs to teach French called, Oh Là Là, Sing Your Way to French. Hispanic Christmas is beautiful, poignant, charming, and meaningful. CC Couch's rich voice surely enchants anyone who has had the good fortune to hear her sing. Hispanic Christmas combines Spanish-language versions of familiar Christmas songs with traditional Spanish songs that should quickly become favorites. Couch's rendition of A La Nanita Nana is hauntingly beautiful. I will be giving Hispanic Christmas to all my friends.

Even though many of these Xmas carols are familiar to the English speakers, these same songs are song in Mexico and other Spanish language countries. The only thing that differs are the lyrics, but the music is beautiful and puts you in a wonderful seasonal spirit. Enjoy!!!

I thought I would hear authentic Latino songs, but many were translations of English songs . . . (I didn't pay attention to the song list in the review I guess.) Still, it is enjoyable.
