These images say a lot about the tense, militant state of mind during this historical period. What an awesome short from the early 1940s! Story of Our Flag (1938) - 10 minutes running time - An excellent classroom movie, which shows a complete history of the United States flag, ranging from the colonial period to the 20th century. The animation in this feature is especially interesting and entertaining.
