VERY Disappointing !
This book had such promise...could have been spectacular...but the overall feel is sub-standard...production quality is horrible...photographs are blurred, and poor quality [and I am not referring to the historical photographs]...lots of detail that would have been interesting had it been presented in a professional manner... If you have to buy this...

I visited Mackinac Island and bought this so I could remember walking by all of these historic cottages. I've read thru it twice already and will always keep it as a wonderful reminder of my trip. I only wish they would have had more pictures of how the original homes looked before newer owners added to them. I truly wish I could own one of these summer homes.
