More About the Author

Hi! I'm Nancy Hendrickson, an Amazon bestselling author based in San Diego. I write about a wide variety of topics, from social media, Wordpress, computers and digital photography to American history, travel and genealogy. I also coach other writers who want to launch or grow their freelance writing business.

When not writing or coaching, I spend as much time as possible traveling to the historic sites of the frontier west. I've posted photos of these trips over at http://flickr.com/frontiertraveler. The last trip was along portions of the Old Santa Fe Trail, which I followed into Dodge City, Kansas. An unexpected find along the way was Pecos National Historic Park in New Mexico - a hidden gem I stumbled across quite by accident. Isn't serendipity wonderful!

When at home in San Diego, one of my favorite pasttimes is flying my Delta stunt kite down at the Bay - - and seeing how many disastrous crashes I can avoid! My most recent adventure involved attaching a Flip video camera to my kite to get a bird's eye view of San Diego. Poor Flip.
