This book covers all of WWII. It includes text, pictures, and great looking maps. This book has the best color maps of any WWII atlas I own (The Historical atlas of WWII, The Cassell Atlas of the second world war, & West Point atlas for the second world war Europe & the Mediterranean)

Gives detailed maps of every battle of World War II. Also supplies facts about the time between the World Wars and the postwar era. Highly recommended.

My husband is a WWII history fanatic. He loves reading about it but also wants to be able to picture "where" these events took place. This book provides definitive maps and descriptions of the action. He keeps telling me how great it is.

I purchased it for my 44 year old son who never learned much about either WW1 or WWII in high school. What a shame!!!! Kids should know what happened and this book is so visual to make it fun. Education in the schools is so lacking in depth.

This is a comprehensive, well done history of WWII. Good maps, and excellent chronologies. Helps me put it all together - almost as if I had lived through it. I have learned soooo much.
