I LOVE THIS BOOK!!! I must say that until I read this book with some subsequent research, I had just about given up on Christianity. Like a lot of black Christians bombarded by whiteness, I felt as if the bible had nothing to do with me. Talk about the bible being African centered, the whole book is African. Anyike shows how whites have almost nothing to do with the foundation of Judaism or Christianity. WHAT A SHOCK!!! I can not believe that as a black person who has 'grown up in the church' I knew nothing of my own history. This book should be taught in classrooms all around the world. Thankyou, Anyike

Anyike has really surpassed my expectations in providing a historically correct view of Christianity. In the process, he has made an important contribution in uncovering the deeply ingrained racism that has permeated Christendom for centuries. This book is a must for any Christian who loves the truth and especially for African American Christians living in these times and bombarded by other religions claiming to be more afrocentric. I concur with the author's comments on the importance of his research to youngsters in general and young christians in particular. This book should be in every church library and every christian store book shelf in the nation.

This is an exellent book for a layperson seeking an intorduction into the African presence in the Bible. Mr. Anyike has researched well and broken the information down into edible bites. For anyone interested in validated proof of the presence of people of color in the Bible this is the book. I highly reccomend it. Read this book and be blessed. Pastor H.W. Cooper,Jr.
