The facts in this magaziene are so incorrect that me and my sister were rolling around laughing. on one page they have a picture of young randy jackson and claim that its michael. then on another page they have a picture of randy jackson, FROM AMERICAN IDOL, and claim that it is randy jackson of the jackson 5. THHEEN they have a picture of a michael jackson impersonator with a really bad wig, and claim that its actually michael!!! waste of money. i'd be more angry but i got it as a gift. their are better editions out there. don't waste your time on this one.

I am not a huge fan, and by no means an expert regarding Michael Jackson. We bought this for my 9 year old who loves his music and dance moves. When looking through it with her last night, I found several photo caption errors - including one that indentifies Randy Jackson of American Idol as Michael's brother (while Michael DOES have a brother named Randy, he is not the American Idol Judge)....these errors really made me wonder about the accuracy of the written biography context. I still gave three stars because it does have some great photos, and I was glad to finally find a tribute that focused only on his music and dance career and did not have accounts of his messy trials, as I really don't want my young daughter reading the details.

This is a limited edition collector's magazine, released to celebrate the life and achievements of Michael Jackson. I really enjoyed this publication because it was so positive and uplifting and detailed Michael Jackson's entire life, from his childhood to his adulthood. It also included many rare and candid pictures of the star throughout all stages of his career. I picked this up from my local grocery store and if you're interested in getting it too I recommend you buy it from a brick and mortar store because the price is less. Besides examining and going over all of Michael's major musical releases, career highpoints and achievements, this publication also reported Michael's many humanitarian efforts. I especially enjoyed reading this because this is incredibly underreported and I learned that Michael was one of the most generous celebrities of his time who donated over $100 million to charity. My only complaint is that it was riddled with grammatical errors and typos (on nearly every single page) and there were some inaccuracies (for example Michael was 1 of 9, and this publication stated that he was 1 of 8). But overall I enjoyed the Historical Collector's edition because it truly was a great collection of stories and pictures of one of the greatest performers ever.
