About the Author
Mark W. DeLancey, professor of government and international studies at the University of South Carolina, has spent extensive periods in Cameroon and taught at the University of Yaoundé.
Mark Dike DeLancey is a specialist in Cameroon art history. He is currently conducting research in Ngaoundéré on Islamic influences on palace architecture in Northern Cameroon.
