About the Author
Keith Jackson and Alan McRobie are both political scientists with degrees in history. Jackson is Emeritus Professor of Political Science at the University of Canterbury. McRobie, former senior lecturer at the Christchurch College of Education, is a political consultant and author of a number of books dealing with general elections including the authoritative "New Zealand Electoral Atlas".
