This book is excellently written and contains fascinating and useful information, presented in a way that makes the subject matter accessible by scholars of all ages. Having first read it in sixth grade as research for a project, I still find it a thorough and well-constructed book on a difficult topic.

I agree with another reviewer that this is a very good and well documented book. It contains very well documented information about the beginnings of the creation of atomic bomb in the US and in the rest of the world. It is very interesting, concise and based on good sources. It is written very clearly - great book, especially for youth interested in the history of atomic and nuclear military industry.
