5.0 out of 5 stars Great early account of this most beautiful county of NH., November 30, 1997
This review is from: History of Carroll County New Hampshire (Hardcover)
Written in 1889, this is an excellent account of the life as well history of the area. Traces all the original pioneers of the towns. Because it was written 100 years ago, it leaves a large gap to be written about a in period which the county has seen enormous growth and success. The English of this text is very readable for its age.
