4.0 out of 5 stars great game.......... but you take turns!, March 18, 2004
This review is from: History Channel: Civil War the Game: Great Battles (Jewel Case) (CD-ROM)
i reallly like the civil war so i like this game. pros: it has some good game modes and great graphics. you control your army on a map then lead them into battle. its pretty fun. cons: 1. your armys dont all have generals! i dont understand that. you cant lead your army into battle without a general in this game. that makes perfect sense but all armys had a general back then. 2. the biggest problem! YOU TAKE TURNS IN BATTLE!! they attack then you attack they attack you attack etc. this throws alot of strategy out the window. it completely takes away from the action that should be there. overall this game is alot of fun but they could really change the whole taking turns in battle thing.

This review is from: History Channel: Civil War the Game: Great Battles (Jewel Case) (CD-ROM)
I love this game because lots of authenticty in it,but lacks real Civil War maps and You have to take turns between shooting which wouldn't happen in a real Civil War battle.
