This nook read like a regular book, not a textbook (if that makes any sense). It is a very interesting and EASY read. You don't have to re-read sections because of the wordage used. Very good buy, even if you don't need it for a class. Pictures are bright and glossy and almost has a magazine look to it. Very well laid out. Great!
