This book is a good idea gone bad. Factual errors and editorial oversights abound. Did anyone proofread this thing? I teach Mass Communication at the university level, so I persevered and read the book in its entirety, but I was constantly perturbed by the copious mistakes. The overall approach is generally good -- a fine idea for a book -- and the writing is accessible, but don't get this book for its editorial excellence -- you won't find that here.
