A good broad survey of Georgia history. However, it's quite out-of-date; it stops short of the last 35 years of the state's history. What little bit of the post Vietnam era is included are just tiny nuggets that foreshadow an geologic shift in the state's political economy, ruling politcal forces, and great social changes that have taken place since then.
