couldn't have thought of better placed mixture of deep house hits I used to jam to when i was in high school. thanks for taking me back to those great memories and giving me great work out music now!

If you were in high school in the 90's and remember hard house-THIS is the CD to get. There are other CDs that claim to have hard house but most of a few good songs plus other songs you've never heard or mix in some euro-house with it. Nothing against euro-house or trance but hard house is HARD house. Especially if you remember it from the 90s. Of course I am in my 30s now but this compilation mix definitely captured all those great songs. A MUST if you want good hard house

This cd rocks!!!!!!!!! I haven't listened to a CD that has these many hits in one compulation. It's like being in the club again. Listening to all the great House DJ's from Arena to Sweet Sunday. This is like listening to a soundtrack for all the clubbers in the 90's. Thank you Darrn R. for such a great mix. The only thing that I would have asked to add to this cd is "El General Caffe con Leche". That's all it's missing, but none the less this is a great CD. I highly recommend this CD for all those club heads.

This cd is one you definately have to have in your hard house collection. The title "history of hard house" suites this cd very well. the first disc is a non stop continuous mix of past hits. The second disc...WELL!, there is not much i can say about it..but it F***** KIKS ASS!! IF you like this kat, check out DJ Bam Bam & DJ Irene. :: ONE LUV ::

Hard house i probably my fav type of music and this cd certainly doesn't disapoint. In fact, I would rank it up there as one of my favourites. A must have!!

this cd kicks so much...it's not funny. You'll notice on the back of the cd that there are so many tracks on this double cd mixed album. Darren R, the ghostly dj behind the whole thing makes so many cleaver and charismatic mixes, you can't help but get into the hard house tempo and loud, asswhooping style. The formula is simple. A bass snare loop, a sinthetic alarm like rythem, and a hype sample banging your brains out. Get this cd and you'll be down with the hard house sound

This is definatley hardhouse at it's best. If you like hard house music you'll love it. If you don't, then you won't. Simple as that. The first 20 minutes of the first disc kinda drags on but it picks up afterwards. The second one is flawless. I would definatley reccommend this JUST FOR THE ALPHA TEAM TRACK!!!!!! LOVE IT! Go speed racer go!

omg i've been looking for this cd for ever and now i finally have it! if your a hard core techno person this is the cd to own. i had it before and wore it out and had to have it again. I'm sooo stoked that amzon had it in stock. darren r is the sh** ! keep up the good work and keep makin the best da** techno cd's on the market!

The title "history of..." gave me the impression that the tracks would be ol' school but they weren't.

Unfortunately, for me I didn't notice the explicit lyrics warning before I purchased it so imagine my surprise when track 24 played.

I wish I had gotten more information on this before I bought it.
