This cd was put together by Channel 4 in England as a companion to their series about the history of House music called Pump up the Volume. Often when cd's are put out as companion pieces (to movies, etc), some of the great songs you want are not included. This did not happen with this cd. Every great song from the series made it onto the cd, and the cd (actually 2 cd's) represents the history of house perfectly! I recommend also purchasing the book that came out with it called Pump up the Volume by Sean Bidder if House is something you are really into. (for people who don't need the history and just want the music, the cd will be plenty)
