This book is very informative, yet boring. My professor also believes that the author is opinionated, thereby leading to a biased account of Latin American history. However, after reading the material I felt that I had learned something and felt knowlegable about the subject. If you can get through the sometimes boring reading, you will be well-informed and prepared for history tests. :-)
