This documentary presents the history of the glorified A.I.Mikoyan's aircraft designing bureau. Mikoyan's planes have been the basis of Russian and Soviet Air Force for more than half a century: from MIG-1 to a hypersound MIG-31. Unique archival videodocuments of operations in Korea and Vietnam are used. The advanced fighter designs by Artyom Mikoyan have supplied the backbone of the Soviet Air Force since World War II whem the MiG-1 started a dynasty that would continue into the jet age. The MiG-15 fought against Sabres in the first jet war over Korea while the MiG-21 duelled with Phantoms in the sky of Vietmnam. Self-education in history, theory and modern conflicts. In 1996 Aizenberg released a book called Library Service: Theory and Principles that was later used in the university. Took part in military action in World War II and got two medals for victory over Germani and victory over Japan. Received orders of Great Patriotic War (WWII) second degree and of Red Labor Banner. The movie contains unique and rare documents of Russian state archive of video and photo documentation.
