A great showcase of great Northwesr Bands of the Garage era!,
By A Customer
This review is from: The History of Northwest Rock, Vol. 2: The Garage Years (Audio CD)
In listening to this cd I really traveled back to my youth. Hearing Little Sally Tease by Don and the Goodtimes and The Owl and the Pussycat by the Bards made me 14 again. I grew up in the Seattle Tacoma area and remember many of the bands here. If you really want a look at the garage bands of the Sea-Tac area during 1963-67 this is the cd for you. The liner notes are a great help for the history of the bands . There is to be a further release for the psychedelic era bands. I cannot wait.

A Trip Back in Time,

This review is from: The History of Northwest Rock, Vol. 2: The Garage Years (Audio CD)
Having grown up in the Pacific Northwest and participating in the Tacoma music scene with the Regents from 1963 to 1967, I found this album to be a wonderful trip down memory lane. The album had a collection of familiar songs, plus some I never got to hear before, possibly because as with so many other young men in those days, I was taken away from the Pacific Northwest by the draft in mid-1967. I can't wait to hear Vol 3 if that is ever produced. SamCarlson@TheRegents.net
