This review is from: A History of Parliamentary Procedure: Fourth Edition (Paperback)
This is a great little book on the history of parliamentary procedure. Too many people out there have some very bad ideas of what parliamentary procedure is and where it came from. The biggest howlers are the anti-parly pro types that try to claim that Henry Robert invited it, then try to put it down because he was a General, overlooking the facts that parliamentary procedure predated him not just by decades but by centuries. |
