Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: The History of Printmaking (Voyages of Discovery) (Hardcover)
I saw this book on display when I was traveling in New England and was very impressed. No copies were available there for purchase; however, I persevered and was delighted when I found it on Amazon.com.
The book is crammed full of excellent information and illustrations -- almost to the point of appearing overwhelming; the rather cluttered cover design gives you an idea of the inside. The writing style, however, is clear and interesting. I bought it as a birthday gift for a bright 10-year-old, and she seemed to like it. If the layout hadn't been quite so daunting, I would have given the book five stars.
