EXCELLENT COMPILATION OF 50s ROCK 'N ROLL,
By Kim K. (Bayonne, New Jersey) - See all my reviews
This review is from: History of Rock: 50's 1 (Audio CD)
For true fans of classic r&r hits of the 50s, you can't go wrong with this wonderful collection by WCBS-FM-Part 1 AND Part 2. Each song is a major hit as done by the original artist, no remakes to be found in this series. My radio is usually tuned into CBS-FM whether at home or at work. If only there were a few more additions to this 50s series. Anyway, get both volumes(1 and 2)and put them on either at home or in the car, sing along & have a great time. Very highly recommended.

these songs are all originals, some are less well known than the others, depending on what part of the country you were listening to the radio at the time, but there is a good mix of the most popular and less well known songs, but all are good
