Hardback but not truly.,

This review is from: The History of Sexuality: Volume I: An Introduction (Hardcover)
The years have taken their toll on my paperback copy of The History of Sexuality, so I thought I might as well invest in a hardcover copy with the usual acid-free paper and cloth binding. Alas, this hardcover edition is only hardcover. If it was originally printed on acid-free paper, that paper must have contained lignin because the pages have yellowed. Less acceptable is that the binding is glued, not sewn, so I some of the pages may come loose, as they already are beginning to.So, until someone realizes that there may be people who do want this work in genuine hardcover, that there may be a market for it, the regular trade paperback is the way to go.
