I bought this book thinking it was the third volume of the History of Sicily by the same authors. However, it is a very abridged version of the entire three volume set, extending from early Greek times to just after WWII. If you want a 200+ page history that doesn't go into great depth, this is excellent. However, if you're seeking the more in depth three volume series, look elsewhere.
