The History of the Trans Am Series 1966-1995, February 13, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: History of the Trans Am [VHS] (VHS Tape)
If you're a fan of SCCA's Trans Am racing series, this video is a must. The tape includes lots of rare film and photos from the series' hey-day of the late 60s and early 70s. There's a great in-car shot with Peter Revson narrating from his Javelin as he drives a lap of Watkins Glen. And there's plenty of coverage of the series ups and downs all the way to the end of the 1995 season. There are plenty of interviews with drivers, team owners and SCCA executives that add tremendous insight to the Trans Am's evolution. Interviews with legends such as Parnelli Jones, Dan Gurney and Sam Posey are especially interesting as they let it all hang out. Highly recommended!
