Book Description

May 1, 1995
From the heavily documented crash in Roswell, New Mexico in 1947, to the 1978 sighting by engineers in Bolivia, the co-author of The UFO Crash at Roswell compiles four decades of rumors and testimony about UFOs.

Editorial Reviews

Amazon.com Review

Certainly taking the opposite tack from Peebles' Watch the Skies, Randle is a believer and has no compunction about making that clear. While not afraid to point out the obvious hoaxes, he is not ready to concede that the U.S. government does not know more than it's letting on, nor that the Roswell craft was just a weather balloon. Randle gives an in-depth discussion only to the major crash events, but his arguments are seductive. A History of UFO Crashes certainly lives up to its title, and if you are looking for a thorough chronology of reported crashes, it's all here in one book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Facts are what counts, February 3, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: History of Ufo Crashes (Mass Market Paperback)
I found this book well researched and stuffed with proven fact. The author hardly ever goes as far as speculating. I find comments such as that by reader JJMcGrath particularly stupid because they try to evade seious discussion by joking their way out of it. A book like this is a good opportunity to ask the question: If all the information, the testimonies by pilots and ex-airforce top ranks, the eyewitness reports from hundreds if not thousands of people, the tons of classified documents crafted by Army, Airforce and various government agencies, if all that is just wishful thinking by some UFO-lunatics, where is the book that relates proof that all the counts against the US government are totally untrue? I haven't found a single one yet, and I would really like the McGraths in this country to tell me.

3.0 out of 5 stars Older look at some crash cases, October 17, 2008
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: History of Ufo Crashes (Mass Market Paperback)
Lt Col Kevin Randle (USAR-Ret) wrote this book in 1995 about some of the well known crash cases at the time. This book is a bit dated since new information has come to light about Roswell and some other crashes listed. This was one of the first realistic looks at crash cases up until that time.

Lt Col Randle has written a newer book on this subject with much more information. I do recommend this one as a historic piece of work which should be in the library of any budding ufologist.

Just like the later book, Lt Col Randle is one to call them as he sees them, and he is not afraid to use the word hoax.
