Truth for Humanity & Justice, July 30, 2007
This review is from: History Undercover - Rape of Nanking [VHS] (VHS Tape)
Lou Reda made this documentary after his "Murder Under the Sun - Japanese War Crimes & Trial". This is the first documentary in the West on Rape of Nanking, the Japanese atrocities in 1937 China, after Iris Chang shocked with the best seller `Rape of Nanking, the Forgotten Holocaust of WW II".
It told of Japanese killing and rape in this beautiful Chinese capital from vintage footage. It also featured interviews with Iris Chang, Whitney Harris, the American Prosecutor at Nuremberg Trial of Nazi Germany, Japanese soldiers, Chinese activists and survivors. A group of Westerners, mainly Americans and a Nazi, John Rabe helped saved and cared for the victims. Japanese murdered more than 350,000 innocent and defendless men, women and children and committed 80,000 cases of rape.
This documentary exposes Japanese war crime against humanity in WW II. It upholds the truth for humanity and justice against the Japanese recent shameful change, distortion and denial of this ugly chapter. Would world citizens approve Japan for a United Nation Security Council member to keep world peace with such brutality?
