I needed this for a world history course, but when the instructor was changed, I had to get a different text. I held onto this one anyway and found it much more helpful. The format and language is easy to follow and understand and just enough information for a survey course.

I personally think this book is horrible. It does give you details but no specifically. It just jumps to results about an event without further explanation. Plus, the punctuation is TERRIBLE. They need to insert commas so some sentences won't be misread.

First, i received this book in excellent conditions. I have been impressed about the way history is written in it. Easy to understand and very specific issues about the world societies history.

Product was delivered in a timely fashion, and was as described. No problems with the seller or product.

I ordered this book offline because my school was taking too long to get it in stock. Be careful; I used the SIC code and it pulled up the book. The book was close enough for me to get an A in the class, but still not the same book.. this was copyright 2009, when mine called for 2008...there were differences and sometimes I felt lost in the class, because of the update to the book. There should be a different CODE for the book...just check the copyright!

Purchase the book on line at Amazon, the book was in good condition just like the discription said. Very satisfied with the book I ordered and will order again.
