1.0 out of 5 stars No Fun!, August 5, 2005
By
I purchased this for my grandson and did not see it for several months after he received it. I did not like what I observed.
When you hit the ball, it does not spin freely around the pole, allowing you to hit it again with ease. The ball is attached to a rope so that when you hit the ball, the expectation is that the ball will continue to spin around the pole until you hit it again.
In reality, the top and bottom of the rope is attached to the pole with velcro strips which do not spin freely about the pole. The rope with attached ball just wraps around the pole. Eventually. the rope spins back in the opposite direction allowing the possibility to hit it again only to wrap around the pole in the opposite direction. This does not have enough momentum to hit the ball successfully.
Would not recommend this item. No fun!
