Wasn't sure this could compare to the first book but what a great treat to see the sequel lived up to my hopes.

As touching and funny as the first,it's like going on a trip with beloved friends.

If your a fan of the first Manny book then please do pick this up and go on a road trip you won't soon forget Young Keats and the Manny make us all long for a real friend when we are growing up and into who we will become.

Great book, laugh out loud funny, deals with some preteen topics (homosexuality, being embarrassed by someone else's behavior). Very under appreciated author!

So many of our stories are the same. They all have a beginning, a middle and an end but it is all the adventures inbetween that make this life yours. Christian Burch takes us on a Manny Files adventure with Keats and his family to of all places the Manny's parents house. A story that I certainly could identify with in the tale of his relationship with his parents Hit the Road Manny will bring tears to your eyes and a smile in your heart.

I only hope that Mr Burch will bring us more Manny Files.

Laugh out loud funny book for middle school+. Using it as a lit circle book in a 7th grade humorous book discussion. This is the second in the series..first is 'The Manny Files', but can read out of order with no problem.

In this book, follow the family and the Manny on a cross-country roadtrip in a rented RV..laughing all the way.

Pluses of the book: Humorous sibling interactions; Positive GLBT elements; Literary elements; Positive and negative adult rolemodels.
