I have been using this projector for the past two years for presentations I make on a regular basis to community groups. The quality of the projected images is very bright and clear, and it is so easy to set up and use. I have used it in large rooms with audiences of 100, and in living rooms with audiences of 10, and it works equally well in both kinds of settings. I prepare my presentations in PowerPoint and then need to remember to save them as JPEG files. So it is really a very good slide projector, and has the limitations of only being able to show one slide at a time and not being able to use any animated features. My only concern at this point is when the bulb for the projector might give out, and they are very expensive to replace. I just hope it doesn't happen when I am in the middle of a presentation! But overall I find it so much easier to use than combining a PC with a projector, which is rife with things that can go wrong - and often did when I used that system. I recommend this projector very highly.

I work in adult education and I needed a projector for my class activities. The Hitachi projector has been very simple to use... plug and play with my mac. The size of the projection is great. The projector does not get overly hot as some projectors tend to after 2 hours of continuous use. I love that it is quite lightweight which makes it easy to carry around. So far I am satisfied with my purchase.
