The good points: 1) easy to install. 2) Help stabilizes molding 3-4 feet long. 3) Does not compromise the portability of the saw.

The bad points: 1) a little pricey for what you get. 2) Marginally helpful when cutting a little off a 7-8 foot length of molding. For this you really need a larger add-on fence system.

In my opinion, this device should really be included with the saw as a standard feature.

I purchased the Hitatchi C10FC miter saw that did not come with extensions so I ordered these. The holes on the saw do not match the width of these extensions. The holes on the saw are much wider so I am not sure if this was a recent change to this model of saw or these extensions changed. I am still looking for the proper extensions for this saw. As the other reviews said, the extensions SHOULD have been included with this saw.

These table extension wings are exactly what was needed in the workshop that I purchased them for. Now two man jobs have become one. The wings for the Hitachi miter saw were easy to install and just complements the saw. Its a great addition.

Buyer Beware! When you buy an Hitachi C10FCE saw, don't buy this extension and expect it to fit! Otherwise, it will cost you money to return. The hole spread is different. The description says it will fit an Hitachi C10FC saw...maybe it will fit an older generation but not the C10FCE. This description by Amazon is misleading and should be made clearer so customers can avoid trouble and expense. I'm not a happy customer!

well it took a long time to find them but they are working out just fine & they are a big help.

This product was chosen to fit a Hitachi C10FC2 chop saw and fits perfectly.

As a retired general contractor, when I made this purchase, I was afraid that the product was going be a cheap knock-off but it wasn't. The wings are manufactured from heavy, bent to shape, solid steel bars as opposed to being manufactured from expected bent thin wall tubing. The brackets are also made from heavy gauge steel as opposed to expected thin gauge steel. I might add that this was a pleasant surprise as I was very pleased with the overall high product quality as opposed to expected thin-wall, knockoff quality.

A caveat not worth knocking a star off for: The 1/4" X 5/8" set screws meant to anchor the locking saddles to the wing bars, is not long enough due to how the holes in the saddle for the wing bar to pass through, were punched into the plate before being bent into the saddle shape. Yes, the screws are to stated Hitachi specs but the main holes are spaced a smidge too far apart so the correctly spec'd, 5/8" length, 1/4" set screw is not long enough so as to lock the locking retaining saddles to each of the bars. This is easily and inexpensively remedied by stopping by your local hardware store and picking up a pair of equivalent replacement set-screws for under a buck. In the meantime, the overall fit/finish of the wing bars is such that one really doesn't need to worry about locking the wing bars in place.

After much online searching for prices, I decided to checkout Amazon. I found the Amazon price to be an excellent price and the product quality, with the minor caveat regarding the set-screws, to be very high. Overall, if this is the type of product you're looking for, this is an excellent product, at an excellent price and I highly recommend this product.

I bought this product because the description says it is for a CF10 hitachi saw when I do not agree with my hitachi holes, lost the money does not help me

I bought the saw originally without the wings, but soon realized their usefulness. They work great. The only drawback is that they are a little cumbersome to remove for storage.

The product did not fit on my C10FCH2 Miter Saw with Laser...the extension wings are not wide enough to fit in the holes. There are no apparent problems with the product other than the fact that I can't use it with my saw.
