The only complaint I have with this set (and it's a minor one), is that I can NOT get the case closed - as in fully snapped shut again. I have fiddled around with the bits repeatedly, but the case may never snap shut again. Why not make the case 1/8" bigger so it can be shut?

That aside, the drill bits are of average made-in-china quality. I snapped off two bits within days of purchasing this set. Nowadays, when I have serious drilling to do, I pull out the 3/8" B&D drill and get some real bits.

But for around the house, Harriet Homeowner stuff, this 20-piece quick change set is probably a good deal. Just don't expect it to hold up under heavy use.

I knew ahead of time what I was buying when I opted to purchase this kit from Amazon. I had purchased a few drill bits locally, but found them only marginally compatible with my Craftsman driver set due to slight design differences. As a result, my primary goal was to acquire the quick release.

Goal achieved. The bits are decent quality for light duty use in steady hands, but be warned - the drill bits are sensitive to any degree of lateral torque and will readily snap or separate from the base if subjected to it. The day after I purchased the kit, I let my 4-year-old son use them on a wood project he was exploring. He quickly broke the smallest three and the largest drill bits much to both our consternation, as he was trying his level best to be careful with them and was doing a good job. As a result, I switched the driver out with a quality fixed-chuck drill bit both for his safety and the longevity of the drill set.

But, again, for the price (I purchased for about $15.00), this one is worth the buy. And, if you are looking for "real tools" for your child, the quick release and driver bits are a *great* buy, but I do not recommend that you let them use the drill bits - at least not without assistance.

If you need a very small battery driven drill set then this may be for you. I first saw one when an electrician came to my home with one. Compact with most of the drill bits and other parts you will need. You can angle it at various positions and stick it in your shirt pocket if you need to. I like it and I recommend it.

I've used these for a while now. I've has 2 of the drill bits break, but I did use them for a little while. The quick change is great, makes things get done a little quicker. I like the case, keeps things organized.

I should have bought this sooner, but I had a lousy one years ago and didn't stop to wonder if they had improved. They did, and it seem like they thought of every detail needed to make it a great tool.

Pretty good for the price. The quick change bits are not that stable.

Nice set matches well with my Hitachi drill set. Price is right. Functionality is right. Have order for another set in process! Procured another set for use in work area. Excellent value!

These are good quality bits and holders - all the most common items put together in a medium thickness plastic case.

My husband and I bought this with our Hitachi drill. They are very durable and have come in handy for around the house fix-its.

This is obviously an erroneous listing. The bit set should sell for around $15 - $20, not $79.95 (unless the vendor is fishing for suckers).
