Great saw-no Hardie Blade
I bought this saw for residng a garage with Hardy Plank. When I received the saw it had a standard carbide blade. Amazon.com customer service was very nice and shipped out another saw. It too shipped with a standard blade. I ordered a $59 Hardy blade because I needed it and they gave it to me for no charge. What a difference it made using the hardy blade. Less dust,...

Tool Great - Amazon Not so Much
I ordered this tool because the model # listed is supposed to ship with Hardi Blade. This can be verified at the Hitachi web site. I received the model with out the "H" as in C7YA which includes the general contractor blade. I called customer service they sent me another - next day. Not only was it the same C7YA withOUT the right blade. Even better (sarcasm) it must have...

I bought this saw for residng a garage with Hardy Plank. When I received the saw it had a standard carbide blade. Amazon.com customer service was very nice and shipped out another saw. I received the model with out the "H" as in C7YA which includes the general contractor blade. I called customer service they sent me another - next day. Not only was it the same C7YA withOUT the right blade. Even better (sarcasm) it must have been previously returned - mixture of different packaging tape and someone wrote with a sharpie the suffix "H" after the C7YA.
I'll give it 4 stars when I get the propper blade. I think someone has the wrong tool in inventory, because I can't find just the C7YA on the amazon site. |
