The Hitachi DH50MB 2" SDS Max Rotary Hammer features electronic feedback variable speed control wherein the number of revolutions and strikes adjusts smoothly with dial-in levels 1 through 5 for stable/consistent drilling efficiency without fluctuation. Boasting a high drilling speed of 120-250 RPM and an impressive impact energy of 3.7 Ð 13.3 ft./lbs. and 1200Ð2500 BPM, this 2Ó Rotary Hammer powerfully drills, crushes, chisels, grooves, edges, cuts, strips, roughs, and compacts/tamps concrete surfaces.

The DH50MB 2-mode hammer drill provides 3 functions: "rotation + hammering" for drilling, "neutral" for positioning the tool tip and "hammering only" for chiseling and chipping. Using the convenient change lever located under the cylinder case, these functions can be selected with the drill bit still mounted. Thus the initial, accurate centering and positioning of the chisel is maintained. The tool angle can be adjusted by simply sliding the grip backward and utilizing the12 position vario-lock mechanism to remove and/or attach the tool.

Not only engineered to optimally combine rotation speed, striking frequency and impact energy, the unique body design of the DH50MB also reduces operator fatigue. Ergonomically sound, the DH50MB weighs only 21.6 lbs. and has an overall length of 19.5Ó. This compact and lightweight model includes several shock-absorbing features. The two vibration-isolating rubbers provided between the handle and the crank case, and also between the handle and the housing, efficiently absorb the vibration transmitted from the main body of the tool to the operator. In addition, the shock absorbing double-layer molded main handle and the side handle consist of a plastic resin base covered with a soft plastic layer to ensure a soft touch and easy-grip.

Furthermore the DH50MB was constructed with safety and low-maintenance in mind. To ensure enhanced safety and a greater accuracy of slip torque, this 2Ó SDS Max Hammer Drill is equipped with a needle-pin type slip clutch. The DH50MBÕs sealed grease construction requires minimal maintenance and the indication lamp for carbon motor brush replacement prevents damage to the motor. The warning display will light up approximately 10 hours before the service life of the carbon brushes ends.

The DH50MB comes equipped with a case, side handle, 3 hex bar wrenches, stopper and grease.

Hitachi DH50MB 2-Inch SDS Max Rotary Hammer This drill makes for a quick job of drilling and chipping. It does get heavy with extended usage and should not be used by your less experienced help. This unit can get away from you when drilling and if it hangs up.
